Get to Know Me

I’ve been an athlete my entire life. Sports have shaped me and given me so much, and ever since my playing career ended, I have been dedicated to continuing to grow the game and sharing the inspiring stories of athletes past, present and future.

As a sports storyteller, interviewer, and on-camera host, I have a passion for connecting with athletes and empowering them to share their story in a way that feels natural, comfortable, and real. And my experience as a former soccer player allows me to understand the pressures, personalities and experiences that come with playing a sport and that perspective has shaped how I interview, listen, and share these impactful stories.

Experience, at a Glance

I’ve spent my career covering sports from every angle — broadcast, teams, digital, and live events — with interviewing at the center of all of it.

I began at ESPN, working as a production assistant across multiple sports while pitching, editing, and producing original mini-features. From there, I moved into team communications, serving as Director of Communications for the North Carolina Courage and NCFC men’s team simultaneously, followed by roles with the Chicago Fire in PR and as a digital host.

Most recently, I spent two years with San Diego Wave FC as Director of Communications and Club Reporter, where I led media strategy, conducted countless athlete and coach interviews, and served as the public-facing voice of the club. I spearheaded the launch of “Unlaced” the Wave’s official podcast and currently serve as host and editor of the show, spotlighting players’ personalities and stories off the pitch.

What I Do Now

I’m now a full-time freelancer working with brands, teams, and media outlets that want to cover sports with intention and authenticity.

I take so much pride in what I do and approach every opportunity prepared, adaptable, and calm — especially in high-pressure or live environments. I’ve gathered such a wide variety of experience and knowledge from this industry and I am always excited and eager to put that to use!
